Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, helping them develop stronger analytical skills, more confident writing and a deeper understanding of English Language and Literature.
I also work extensively on creative writing, helping students move beyond formulaic techniques and develop stories with originality, structure and purpose.

Writing with Purpose
I encourage students to think beyond simply asking, “What happens in my story?”
We also consider:
- What does the character want?
- What do they believe?
- What challenges that belief?
- What choices do they make?
- What are the consequences?
- What is the story really exploring?
- What should the reader understand, feel or question by the end?
This helps students write stories that feel purposeful rather than simply technically competent.

Building Stronger Writers
My aim is not simply to improve the next essay or exam response. I want students to become more thoughtful, independent writers who understand how to develop and communicate ideas effectively.
Tuition Fees
One-to-one English tuition: £80 per hour
Lessons are individually planned and tailored to each student. The fee includes lesson preparation, teaching materials and feedback on work completed as part of the tuition.
